Finished in 37:21, almost three minutes faster than last week.

Week 1 done.

Used the 53 for the squats, and finished in either 40:21, or 41:26 if I did miss that set of 15 in the fourth round, and ended up making it up. Probably the latter.

The schedule for this workout will require me to do two days in a row at least once, if not twice, per week. We’ll see how my lower back holds up to that.

Jim vs. KB Swings & Push-Ups, aka The 10,000 Swing Challenge

Judd told me about The 10,000 Swing Kettlebell Workout/Challenge, so I’ve decided to give it a go. We’ll see how long I last.

Week 1, Day 1 | Five rounds, timed:

push-ups x 2

push-ups x 3

I used the 35lb bell because I know damned well I’m not ready for the 53, and I subbed in push-ups for dips because I’m not sure where I’d do dips (maybe I’ll out two chairs together next time or something).

I finished the whole thing in 40:06. And then I did all my lower back stretches from PT.

Thursday night and this morning I hauled a lot of trash either out to the curb or into the back of our car for a dump run.

This should wrap up my light “week”. Work on the basement is done, so there will definitely be some moving of stuff and shelves in my future.
