Five weeks is a little soon to take a light week, but it seemed appropriate after that. And I used the 53lb bell for my swings today.

Jim vs. Kettlebell Swings & Goblet Squats

Holy shit, it’s done.

Week 5, Day 4 | Five rounds, timed:
kettlebell swings x 10
goblet squats x 1
kettlebell swings x 15
goblet squats x 2
kettlebell swings x 25
goblet squats x 3
kettlebell swings x 50

Finished in 33:35, 45 seconds faster than last week, just shy of seven minutes faster than Week 1.

But, damn, I did this whole thing. 10,000 KB swings. At the very least, I’m gonna see if 53lbs is my working bell from here on out.

A little slower today, felt like.

Week 5, Day 3 | Five rounds, timed:

double kb press x 1
kettlebell swings x 15
double kb press x 2
kettlebell swings x 25

Finished in 33:48, only 45 seconds faster than last week, but more than seven minutes faster than Week 1.

Moving right along.

Finished in 33:34, shaving another minute off. (And sadly, one second shy of ending on “:33” in each of the last four weeks.) That’s 6:44 faster than Week 1.

Finished in 34:20, over a minute and a half faster than last week, six minutes faster than Week 1.
